About the Website:
Remember how your guidance counselor told you that a college degree was your ticket to career success? What she forgot to mention is that you can have all the dreams you want, but you have to be an assistant first. Save The Assistants was created by two ex-assistants who wanted to make a place where all disgruntled coffee-fetchers, copy-makers, and general office slaves could have their voices heard.
About the Founders:
Ashley and Lilit met while working for a Frenemy and PTP, respectively, at a large media company. Since getting their souls back, they now run STA and aspire to languishing on beaches the world over. There may be cabana boys, but there will be no assistants.
Lilit is the Editor in Chief of Save the Assistants. She handles the day-to-day work of writing posts and editing submissions. In her free time, she is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in Newsweek, the New York Post, Mediabistro.com, and more.
Ashley is the Creative Consultant of Save the Assistants. Since being promoted to a non-assistant job, she works a lot, but always lends a hand with STA and occasionally pops in to write a really hilarious post. She busies herself with other (secret! exciting!) stuff.
If you would like to join the STA group on Facebook, it is located here.
STA was built with tender, loving care by Michael NoLastName. His genius can be further explored at jagermeta.com.
