‘house’ premieres with assistant story

I love House. I wouldn’t ever want to work for the guy, but he’s a pretty damn entertaining TV character. And that’s why I was excited to hear that the Season 5 premiere–which aired Tuesday night–would feature an assistant character with a demanding boss. Although I enjoy just about anything assistant-related (except being one), there were two other reasons I thought an evil boss/long-suffering assistant storyline would be interesting: one, the likelihood that one of the characters would mention that working for such a diva would make one sick even if they weren’t already; and two, the possibility that House might see some parallels between himself and said evil boss.

Predictably, since this is House we’re dealing with, the assistant, Lou, had all kinds of weird symptoms…including ass bleeding! I know that my job sometimes makes me feel like my ass is bleeding, but this was a whole new level of assistant horror.
