why the term ‘NSFW’ was invented

It’s naive to think everybody stays on task at work 24/7. And, truth is, it’s healthy for you to take breaks and amuse yourself with STA or some cute baby animals over on Cute Overload. But I wouldn’t recommend doing what one unnamed Japanese council worker did–looking at porn more than 177,000 times on his office computer. I’m not sure what “177,000 times” means (are they counting pageviews? Or uniques?), but regardless, porn at work is a really, really bad idea.

The worker, identified only as a 57-year-old man, was not fired but instead demoted and given a large pay cut. I also hope he’s thinking about therapy. Apparently, his company only found out about the porn because his computer got a virus on it. Yikes. That’s like finding out your spouse has been cheating on you when you discover you have the clap.
