Jessica Simpson doesn’t have much going on these days–her last movie was only in a handful of theaters, and her next one is going straight to DVD. So she’s decided to help rehab her image by joining USO and performing for US troops stationed in Kuwait. MSNBC’s “Scoop” gossip column reported this week that Jessica wasn’t slumming it while in the Middle East, claiming that a ”private plane carrying Simpson and her entourage - which includes dad Joe, hairstylist Ken Paves and her personal assistant and stylist… cost approximately $150,000.”
Jessica, however, refutes the allegations. Her publicist told People that “She flew commercially, she is staying in the barracks. She’s been with the troops all day. She’s had her meals with them.” However, the publicist then admitted that Jess did indeed have a hair person and stylist with her, but not an assistant.
Who is Jess’ assistant these days, anyway? Maybe she made a smart choice for once and got someone a little less desperate for the spotlight than CaCee Cobb.
Ken Paves was NOT with Jessica when she went to Kuwait, she came to Dallas first for her promotion of her clothing line at Dillards & she had another guy with her. I was at Dillards for the promotion & I met Jessica & I saw her parents with her. STOP saying Ken was with her.
