British designer Anya Hindmarch, who became megafamous in the US when she designed the “I’m Not a Plastic Bag” tote that sold out of Whole Foods stores, does not have an assistant. And she doesn’t care.

Let’s add her to our list of “people who are too cool to have assistants,” aka “anti-Diddies,” shall we? In addition to Anya, we have:
- Tim Gunn
- John C. Reilly
- Ellen Page
Anyone know of others we’re leaving out?
