Vanessa Williams rules as the fabulously bitchy Wilhelmina Slater on Ugly Betty. Her assistant Marc, played by Michael Urie, is called upon to do everything from spy on other employees to escort Willie around Fashion Week when a botched wrinkle-defying tactic goes horribly wrong. Here’s Vanessa quoted in Entertainment Weekly:
“I do love a great assistant, and mine, Brian Edwards, is the best in the world. Unlike Marc, he does not give me foot massages or Botox, but he would if I asked.”
So that’s what it takes for an assistant’s name to get in a mass publication? Hmmm…now we’re getting ideas…
